In his book he explains 5 steps that you can use to develop a consistent golf swing. The product is created for average and below average golfers to whom David guarantees that they will play better golf than they have ever played and be able to cut their handicap by up to 12.

Everything in the guide is explained in a step-by-step manner. The key to the system is teaching you how to put some backbone into the shot. In order to get the most out of your shot your spine needs to be on the correct swing plane.

This book will teach you how to use your spine as an axis so that you play the best shots. Gripping the golf club in the right way is also crucial in adding distance to your shot and this book has instructions on how to grip the club, timing of the shot and the alignment of your club face. These tips will be very helpful in eliminating your slice and other bad habits that affected your play and kept the ball of the greens.

What will you achieve with the Simple Golf Swing System? There’s a lot that you can learn from this book. New golfers can learn how to swing in just three hours. You will be able to cut you handicap by 7 in the first two rounds and drop 12 strokes of your handicap at the end of two weeks. David promises that by week two you will be playing the best golf that you have ever played. Your strokes will go further than ever before and you will be able to maintain distance and accuracy.

If you struggle to hit the greens then this book has some useful tips on how you can not only make the greens but get the ball close to the pin on a regular basis. According to David every 9 out of 10 golfers have found his system useful.

The Simple Golf Swing system will not make you swing like Tiger Woods, but it promises to improve your golf swing to a degree that you will be able to play good golf on a consistent basis.

The book comes with 7 other bonus books:

The Simple Chip, Mike Pedersen’s "Fit To A Tee” eBook, Swing Trainers that you cant find at home, Putting Lesson #1, Sand Lesson, Updated content for The Simple Swing, Mental Preparation and Mike Austin’s 515 Yard Drive. The updated content bonus means that you will have access to any new material that David produces regarding "The Simple Golf Swing". For example, currently he is preparing a report called "10 Simple Drills to Ensure Solid Impact". You will be able to get this free of charge.

Swing Practice....

Try One-Armed Swings For Faster Improvement

A great practice technique that is a remarkable way to help you develop a better sense of your swing, and the ball, is to take practice shots with one hand.

Here is how it's done:

1. On the practice range, stand over the ball with your normal stance, using a wedge or the 9-iron.

2. Let go of the club with your dominant hand. Keep it at your side. Remember, this drill requires only one arm in use.

3. Start your one-arm practice swing by taking chip shots. By hitting these small chip shots, you will develop a better feel for getting the clubhead on the ball. It also lets you see how the ball moves when it comes off of the clubface.

4. Finally, continue the drill and work your way up to taking ¾ swing pitch shots, still using just your non-dominant hand. You will find that your confidence with the one arm will improve and when you make your normal swings, they will seem stronger and the ball will fly farther.

Chip Shots From The Bunker

When you step foot into a bunker to blast out your shot from the sand and save your score, consider going against the grain and leave your sand wedge behind.

Blasphemy! You might say...

But the fact is that there are numerous times when a chip shot is without a doubt the best strategy shot to make to get the ball out of the sand and closer to the hole.

First, Check 2 Things:

1) Chipping the ball will cause a low shot, without much climb, so there should be little-to-no lip on the trap.

2) Plenty of putting surface should exist between the trap and the hole.

Assuming that both of these conditions are right, feel free to have your caddie hold onto your sand wedge and pull out your 8 iron or 9 iron.

Hit firmly down on the ball, without hitting any sand behind the ball. Now focus hard, keeping your head steady, as this is a delicate shot. The ball should come out clean and crisp with a lot of over-spin so expect a bit of run.

New Golf Product Review: The SkyCaddie

The easiest and most accurate way to measure how many yards you are hitting the golf ball is by using the all-new “SkyCaddie” by Sky Golf. Having said that, how is it possible that this company could improve on such a 1st rate golf ball?

Well, they did it! The new Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls both have a new hidden seam design via its “staggered wave parting line”.

These new golf balls also feature a brand new alignment marking which completely eradicates the need to draw a line by using a marker.

Another benefit of these new golf balls by Titleist is that they offer higher coverage, more distance, and extra responsiveness on the green than compared to older golf balls.

For further details of the new Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls, you can visit www.titleist.com.

Home Golf Lessons

Just because you are stuck at home for some reason and cannot make it to the golf course or the driving range, that does not mean that you have to leave your golf game behind. I've spent many afternoons and evenings practicing my putt shots right on my living room carpet, a simple home golf lesson made cheap.

Putting the ball on your carpet as a home golf lesson is a time-honored tradition. In fact, every day there are thousands of executives who bring their home golf lessons with them to the office, secretly putting the ball on their office carpet while discussing import business matters over the speaker phone.

Home golf lessons that include putting should be done on the right type of carpet, one that is short and firm enough to allow the golf ball to travel at the appropriate speed. A sturdy, industrial-type office carpet works just fine, as do Astroturf-type rugs.

You can further specialize in the quality of your home golf lessons by visiting a golf retail shop and purchasing an electric putting cup. These nifty little devices will actually shoot your ball right back to you once you have putt it into the slot.

Nike Golf Shoes

Professional golf players like Tiger Woods have a swing that is so hard and fast that it is vital for them to be fitted with a pair of golf shoes that provides a strong grip with the ground. To keep up with the needs of both professional golf players and golf enthusiasts like us, Nike golf shoes have created “The Power Platform”.

These Freshly designed Nike golf shoes come complete with Power Platform technology, which provides amazing traction and additional support through elite innovations built into the sole of the Nike golf shoes.

The most outstanding feature of the new Nike golf shoes is the notable performance factor provided by the Power Channel, which is a long groove that travels from the toes and back to the heel of the shoe.

This channel creates the ability of the sole to flex, which allows the front portion of the rear foot to have a stronger push off of the ground, while the rest of the foot is airborne. And when it comes to the forward foot, the Power Channel built within these Nike golf shoes also keeps it firm and secure throughout the swing.

Golf Scorecards

Every golf course provides its players with a scorecard. You should always have one with you, not only to keep score of your game, but it also helps you learn about the course.

A Golf scorecard will explain to you the exact length of each hole, what par the hole is, and the difficulty level of that hole in relation to the others on the course.

Some Golf scorecards will go as far as supplying you with the entire layout of every hole. This map not only provides the layout, but also shows you where the hazard areas are, the trees, and the out-of-bounds locations.

This is an excellent aid that is especially helpful for the beginner golfer, or even a seasoned player that just happens to be new to that particular golf course.

Always study your scorecard, and bring along older scorecards from the same course. By looking them over carefully before you hit the green, taking stock of your upcoming shots, and comparing them to your last set of scores on the same hole, you have valuable information that can help guide you to improving your golf game.

Golf Putter

When it's time to buy a new golf putter, especially after you just spent the afternoon watching your favorite professional golf players swing their way to winning prize money on a televised tournament.

There are nonstop commercials discussing new golf putters that are available with sleek designs and greater control, and you are finally ready to make a wise investment.

The Rife Putters company, formerly titled Guerin Rife, has created a brand-new golf putter called the “Barbados”. A tour driven golf putter, this club has an elegant mallet design which is shaped to the preference of the pros, while at the same time lending plenty of alignment aids.

And like all golf putters designed by Rife Putters, the Barbados comes complete with a RollGroove face, which has small grooves that protrude instead of recess. This design helps the new Barbados golf putter minimize any skidding that may occur while inducing a faster end-over-end roll. This new golf putter also comes with LieAlign technology.

Used Golf Clubs

As a beginner golfer, you might want to consider buying used golf clubs as a starter set. Of course if you have the money to burn then go ahead and get a new set of clubs, but used golf clubs are more than appropriate for the majority of newcomers to the game. There are quite a few people, especially kids and teenagers, who play for a while but lose enjoyment and end up wasting those new clubs.

The main factors when buying any type of clubs, even used golf clubs, is to make sure that they fit close to your height, arm length, and swing speed. When buying used golf clubs, another important factor is how all of the drivers, irons, and putters feel in your hands and when you swing.

Used golf clubs can be found in most used sporting good stores, weekend garage sales, classified ads in the newspaper, and of course, through online shopping. You can even check some of the local pro shops at the nearest golf course for any available used golf clubs.

Golf Shirts

Did you happen to catch last year's Honda Classic? His upper body attire during the tournament was a golf shirt that not only had the look of confidence and power on the course, it was also on the cutting edge of design compared to most golf shirts.

What Was He Wearing?

32 year old Mark Wilson was wearing a golf shirt that was made by Sunice, a Canadian apparel company that uses silver to make their golf shirts. A simple remedy to this situation was the invention of the golf court. Motorized golf carts are available at just about every modern course, and make it much easier for people to move from hole to hole without straining themselves.

Golf Cart Etiquette
1. Do not drive over the fairway because it will leave marks and deep ruts in the turf.
2. Never drive a golf cart onto the green, ever! When you approach the green, simply park the golf cart on the side of the green, closer to the next tee.
3. Try not to drive a car near any other player who is setting up for their swing. When you are getting ready to take a swing, the most frustrating experience can be a disturbance from someone else, especially an inconsiderate player driving a noisy golf cart right past your area.

Fairway

For those of you who want to get into golf, but have yet to step foot on a golf course, you may not know what to expect.

Perhaps you are still learning how to hit the ball on the driving range and are a little nervous to actually play the real game. Whatever your reasons, you need to know what kind of turf the course is made of.

The fairway is your guiding path towards the hole. The grass that is on the fairway will be trimmed very closely to the ground, typically between ½ and 1 inch. On either side of the fairway is longer grass which is called the primary rough. A secondary rough goes beyond that area and the grass is even longer than the primary.

The width of the fairway can vary, depending upon the course. The narrower it is, the more difficult the hole is to play.
